Another awesome weekend at Crossroads was topped off by our first-ever church picnic. 60 people in the sanctuary and 55 people at Johnny Henderson park! That's just amazing! It was so great to see everyone out there.
It was a lot of fun leading worship on Sunday, too. I'm pretty sure no one else in town opened their service with a Steppenwolf tune (in fact, I'd be surprised if anyone in America opened their service with a Steppenwolf tune), but hey...we didn't become a Christ-followers so we could sleep through life, right?
No, we're wide awake, because we've been given new life, infused with tremendous power! We begin a new series this month called Life3 (Life to the power of three). And we're going to share about that world-changing power that God has placed in our hearts and in our hands: Faith, Hope, and Love!
It's going to be an important series as we countdown the weeks leading to our August 10th launch at the College Cinema, so don't miss a week. Life3 the first four Sundays in June, and on June 29th...a special guest!
