Roadworthy

The great Samuel Clemens (a.k.a. Mark Twain) once remarked - after reading a prematurely printed obituary - "The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated".  Breaking the foremost tenet of blogging (I haven't blogged for several days) might lead some to believe that I suffer from the same malady as Twain.  Don't believe it.  I blog, therefore I am.

This has been a BRUTAL week.  What's that?  You, too?  Say it isn't so.  Did you ever feel like you were running uphill in the mud with lead underpants on?  Okay, maybe not.  But do you feel me anyway?

(C'mon, sing with me) Feelings, nothing more than feelings...  Feelings, whoa, whoa, whoa, feelings...  Thank God, we have more than feelings, more than mere emotions to guide us, to help us judge, to clarify, to inspire, and to confirm that we are on the right road!  We have the grace of God, the truth of His Word, and the leadership of the Holy Spirit.

This Sunday morning at 10AM, we start a new series for the month of May called Road Trip.  I am stoked!  Join us at the Annex each week for some spiritual windshield time.  We'll have a positive presentation of the person of Christ, half of an Aqua-painted Pontiac Grand Am on stage, and clips from movies like Vacation, Rat Race, RV, and Wild Hogs!  Don't miss a minute.

Invite someone to hit the road with us this week!  They'll be glad you did.
