There's an old joke about lawyers repeated in the movie Other People's Money: What do you call 5000 lawyers at the bottom of the ocean? A good start.
I have another good start for you. It's from Lamentations Chapter 3:21-24
Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:
Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed
For His compassion's never fail
They are new every morning;
Great is Your faithfulness.
What great news for all of us! Verse 25 says, "The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him..."
How about another good start: Yesterday we had our 8th service in the Annex, the largest amount of adults in the sanctuary since we started meeting, and our largest offering so far!
Rejoice in God's faithfulness and His goodness this morning.
It's a good way to start a great week!
